yes.

I wouldn't re-insert him into a winning team for the sake of it. He'll need a good performance off the bench to justify further inclusion - particularly in light of unhelpful punditry. If he's not prepared to offer some humility (we might not see that he has, of course) he shouldn't expect much in return.

No one should walk into the team. They all need to prove themselves even Gerrard. But we will need him and his quality and experience.

Now I'm the most neutral person around regarding Gerrard, so the answer to this question will be very fair.

My thoughts are that he should not return to the 1st team, we are doing very well without him and Joey Allen is becoming more assured in his midfield berth.

The future of the club played in the last 3 games, I believe Gerrard should be coming off the bench, if he does not offer anything coming off the bench he should not be a 1st team starter.

Yes. Any team in the world would miss Gerrard, he has been and still is world class.

What game were you watching, heggy? We were desperately lacking quality in midfield today & Gerrard would have been an excellent option.

Couldn't help looking at Wanyama & thinking how great it'd be if he was playing for Liverpool instead if Joe Allen.
