Massive game tho with Southampton ahead of us - not to mention Utd getting a reverse today at Swansea. A win would be massive tomorrow in catching up ground and putting pressure on those above us.

Tottenham game was massive but this is the next big thing. A win would be priceless as United have dropped points so we win, thats 3 points each off teams above us. We need a perfect performance.

Agree entirely with the OP's analysis. Only a win is good enough for top4. Really hope we come out firing with intensity Balo and Sturridge start the game. Don't like the fact Lucas is out but we'll have to cope somehow.

Markovic will play at wing back given he's banned for europe, and I think ibe will be rested for this one with sterling coming back in.
Lovrens been gettin more game time recently, and hasn't looked to bad, I think BR is building up to putting him back in the starting line up, whether it'll be today or not who knows but I think it could be. Then Can partnering hendo in the centre

Quite clever the way Rodgers is easing Lovren back into the team a little bit at a time. Rodgers gets a lot of stick but at the same time you have to give credit where it's due. What we really need is another thread giving us all the chance to man up and apologise

If we win today and beat Man Utd, it is conceivable that we could finish in the top 3.
We have to finish top 3 minimum, it is obvious that with the Europa league taking away a CL place from the top 4, that finishing 4th will not be good enough for anyone, if Spurs, Everton or even us win the Europa league this season.
