i've always defended BR
but 1 premiership goal and 1 set up with a rebound from a free kick does not make balotelli a good signing
what about the other 15 appearances where he's been absolutely awful?

BR is an excellent man manager, and has awesome tactical knowledge and awareness, it would have been a huge mistake to sack him.
If you look at Henderson, even King Kenny could not get the best out of him, he has matured under BR, future captain of the club and one of the best British midfielders in his position now.
Balotelli and Joe Allen - lets not forget both are very young, and under BRs coaching are now reaping the benefits.
Coutinho and Sturridge, both have become top class players under BR.
Emre Can, has blossomed under BR.
In the summer we will get rid of our 2 weak links Johnson and Stevie G, with Pjanic coming in, we will definitely challenge for the title next season.
Everyone who wanted BR sacked should be too ashamed to make an appearance on here. I don't have anything to apologise, after finishing 2nd last season and spending 120m or if you want about 40m net, we should be in the run for the title instead of sitting 7th, out of CL and out of the league cup. If you are happy with that, so be it, for me it is not good enough. 40million net we spent. How much did Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City spend this season. It is not about signings, we have had horrendous injury problems this season. If you also think we would challenge for the title after losing the best player in world football last season, you were living in cloud cuckoo land, and to lose Sturridge and for expect us to win the title is madness. Only United spent more than us in the summer and if you take net figures, only United and Arsenal, so go and do your homework. Yes we lost our best player, but BR also got all the money to spend and that's only one player. If you say we couldn't challenge for the title because Suarez was sold, then it would mean it was all about Suarez and not Rodgers. How much has Southampton spend by the way? So stop talking crap. As I said if you are satisfied that we have improved over a dismal first half of the season, so be it, but I am not satisfied to be 7th for sure.

Slating Joe Allen who was arguably MOM yesterday.
