I would say they are both as likely as each other. - maybe the Europa is slightly easier?
There are some decent teams left in the Europa but they are only there because they aren't good enough for the latter stages of CL football. On the other hand, we will need to beat some CL quality teams at the top of the prem if we are to finish 4th.

I think we'll take points off City at home but I think we'll struggle at Chelsea and Arsenal, we always do! I'm confident we'll beat Man Utd at home with a full strength team out and I think we need to win at Southampton as well to keep the positive run of form going!

We bought in the summer so as we had a squad to compete on many fronts. Play every game to win.... If we can't, then at least go down trying. Lovren has to be blooded (again) some time.

With no Lucas or Gerrard, something has to happen in midfield, and Can should be the something; Allen as the 70th minute sub if needed.

With Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, Markovic, Lallana and Ibe (even Gerrard as a 10) there's enough at the top end over the coming weeks. Midfield is key. So, Can or even Sakho to hold the fort in there.

Top 4. We do not have enough players and a manager having enough European experience and defence is key to win the Europa league (and cup competitions) which is our weakness. Doesn't mean top 4 will be easy though, just less difficult

Yeah, if you count all the players at our disposal you’d have to say it shouldn’t matter that much, but our rotation options are weak when you look at other squads, competing for top 4. It all comes back to how many players you have who can realistically rotate into your first choice for any given game. So yes in our present condition, the cups are an impediment to top 4.

And United + Southampton are not in Europe.

No, we lost to them 3-0 at Old Trafford. De Gea was MOTM. Sterling should have had a hat-trick at least.

Well that makes that fixture look much better then. If we could get 3 points from all three of them, that could make a huge difference, especially if they take points off each other.
