Daniel Sturridge on Mario;"with Mario I can move around because I know he will occupy the centre halfs". Roughly translated means ill do all the work while he mopes around offering little. Sooner we get rid the better!

If he's drawing the pressure off Sturridge, he's obviously doing something. And honestly, the last few times I've seen Mario play, his work ethic really didn't seem bad at all. He actually pressed fairly well the other night.

It's been easy to slate him because he's been poor. I've only seen the highlights, but he looked the other night like a team player; not great, not a brilliant individual but at least doing his share and not trying to beat the world on his own.
If he's getting the message, then options improve.

See what red said. Sturridge is a runner, Mario isn't. Strike partnerships are usually made up of those types of combinations. You're quite clearly not stupid enough to believe what you said is true but obviously don't like Mario and twisting what Sturridge said to beat him with.

If he's getting the message, then options improve. I saw the full match, and he absolutely looked like he was putting a shift in and doing his job. He was actually being very clever in the closing stages, slowing down their throw ins, winning the ball in their half, and driving to the corners to eat up those vital few minutes. I was very pleased with his overall game, and even his link up play.

Even if we make 4th, what's the outlook for this club? we have a manager who specialises in implosion and bullshiit, owners who are going to sell any player that becomes remotely world class, and a team that has about 40% of the spirit, cohesion and fight it should have. which remotely world class players have the owners sold since fsg came in? the only ones i can think of in that category are torres and suarez. in both of their time at lfc I think they were both world class (rather than just "remotely"). couldn't think of others in that category really. i'm not sure you can back up any of this argument. i'm wondering if you can disprove the theory that it's you who specialises in bullshiit?
