Don't know about you guys, but finally I'm starting to appear more optimistic in regards to the potential of our football club. Owners etc aside, we have a squad that can potentially be the best team in the league. That formation is working a treat for Coutinho and Sterling, and with Sturridge coming back in. I've really enjoyed watching our games over the past couple of weeks and we look a lot stronger defensively as well - credit to Mignolet who has upped his game.

Credit where its due with Rodgers, he has made changes and has shown bottle which has drastically improved our team from before Christmas. Massive game this weekend!!

Some good signs and some of the signings starting to develop but we still need a striker desperately

We are likely to offload Ballotelli, Borini and Lambert in the summer. So if we can replace them with Origi, Ings and a possible marquee signing then we will be better off. Think we need another Lucas-like midfielder too.

What Zee Fvck?

Not sure about the best team in the league but we're fulfilling our potential again after the dip we've had during the first half of the season. Credit to Rodgers, he knows how to adapt his teams and has come up with a way of getting the best out of the players we have at the moment.

Even most of the purchases are looking so much better with Can, Lallana, Moreno and Markovic improving at varying rates. There are minus points with Lovren and Balotelli but there are always going to be some buys that fall by the wayside. I just hope we can kick on and get 4th!

Sakho = improving significantly and under 25.
Moreno = looks to be a good wingback and under 23
Can = starting to show true potential now = under 23
Coutinho = on the verge of becoming world class = under 23
Sterling = similar to above = under 23
Sturridge = Already proven and deadly when fit = 25
Henderson = Could still improve but good to have in team = under 26

Not many could disagree with a front 3 of Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling.


Seen someone on twitter write this about Coutinho:

Coutinho is very close to that Luis Suarez stage where I'd go the shops to get him drinks to keep him hydrated whilst he sh*gs me bird

after hitting the post and bar 4 or 5 times then winning in the cup could be a very good omen , sakho and can truly brilliant tonight .

I hope sturrigde stays fit, but how long do think those youngsters will stick around for? Not under minding LFC, but when another big European club comes knocking it's unlikely that most of them will remain loyal. I know loyalty means nothing these days in football. If the right offer comes along, it'll be hard for the player and LFC to refuse it. I just think once these players are developed they'll go elsewhere to satisfy their ambitions. There's a saying;"money talks, bullsh!t walks".( Not to say all players are like that though.)
