agreed...it's really annoying too as we can all see he has a good eye for a pass and tons of pace...why is he being played as a back?

And we're wasting Moreno and Manquillo in the bench meanwhile.

Sometimes I wonder whether BR should be in a special needs class to see what he needs to change. We all do bar his fans on here. He complained at no end about the squad depth last season. Now that he has a big squad he doesn't use it.
It just does my head in.

Markovic, Coutinho and Lallanna seem to be similar in some aspects, style of play, trickery (they are technicians lol), passing range and ability. Markovic is the quicker of the three and also a little more consistent than the other two it seems.

He definely isn't a left back or wing back. He will be of more use in the final third and can even score goals if given a fair crack at it.

But when things seem simple to me, BR usually does the exact opposite and that is what I am expecting again. Will we see Markovic as a winger or in the hole? No.

Just thought about this. Brendan Rogers did the same to Stewart Downing and had some lip fest about his need to defend or some sh!te. I wonder if we will see the same happen to Markovic - shipped out in a year or two - after being played out of position and LFC losing money again.

Would love to see him, Coutinho and Lallana all interchanging just behind Sterling. There's a lot of creativity there and Sterling has the pace and movement to take advantage of that.

I think Lazar has been immense in his last 3 games, both in attack and in defence. He most definately has an eye for a pass and blistering pace. This boy is gonna be a big hit for us!

Thought he was a bit of a passenger against Aston Villa, which was disappointing considering his performance against Sunderland. Didn't see last nights game.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Do you think we overpaid for him or do you think he has shown why he is so highly regarded? Personally, I think he could take the league by storm next season once he has a few more games under his belt and learns to be a bit more agressive in his approach.

Your thoughts?

As I've said I liked the cut of his jib from the off here, and I like his work ethic. However he has a lot to learn, and needs to get his head up some more and find more end product as they say. He's a prospect and for once a promising prospect, so we'll give him time. Could prove to be a very good signing, hope he does.

Markovic is being played in a deeper role so like sterling was being played at LB to put less pressure on him to deliver goals and assists, but it allows him to get experience on the pitch at the same time.

By him playing at wing back he is also developing his defending which in my opinion is already excellent for such a young winger.

Teams can't deal with us right now down to the fact we have so much pace and creativity on the field, all what is missing is that clinical finisher.
