I'm giving BR some credit having put him in defending and going to a back 3 we have looked very solid the last 2 games. In fact the best in like forever.
Not bothered if he is playing out of position as long as he is playing well -which he is .We needed solutions whilst the likes of Flanagan and Sturridge were out and BR has been finding them of late.
I hope this early pressure and having to tinker has made him a better manager.

Would still like to see how he performs against stronger opposition.

I think lucas has been putting in some good shifts too which all helps a solid defence Well said, Lucas has been really good lately and we are definitely more solid with him in the team.

i thought he was very impressive tonight despite conceding the pen. looking like a great player who will only get better in the future. don't mind where he plays at this stage in his career as long as he's getting on the pitch and playing games. seems to have everything, power, pace, strength, composed on the ball. maybe needs to brush up on his positioning and heading whilst playing in the back 3 but looking like one of the better players we signed in the summer

Pick of the bunch from the summer signings Yeah, I would make a case for Markovic too... lad is so quick, plenty of skill and vision.. both have settled in pretty quickly also, now that Rodgers is actually playing them.

Carragher's comments on him were very harsh IMO.
Hazard makes every friggin fowl look twice as bad.
3 at the back generally has been a short term solution for Rodgers
Emre can Henderson Lallana/Coutinho would be a great midfield 3

I know JC is only doing his job, but he must feel a bit awkward knowing that he's been guilty of far FAR worse defensive performances himself. No doubt he cared a lot about LFC but he was a very poor player, a liability, and a huge own goal risk. He'd never cope with the pace of forwards today. I'll never forget Terry Henry jogging past him down the wing after giving him a 10yrd start!
