Haha I agree with this, if he doesn't have to think he's a solid strong defender. If he has time on the ball he looks so awkward like he hasn't got a clue what it is or what to do with it.

Classic comment - spot on!!

The guy is clearly a magnificent athlete but on the basis of what I've seen of him wearing a Liverpool shirt, not a footballer. Superior to Coates or Wisdom though.

How we didn't snap up Steven Caulker before he signed for QPR still mystifies me. Miles better than any of our current CBs.

I completely agree.he has had some decent games of late but he always makes me nervous.Can is twice the player that Sakho is when he plays in defense and he's not a true defender.

Sakho is easily our best defender, with Can coming a close second. His passing stats are better than any other defender we have and he is hard to get through. We should be revolving the defence around him. What a beast!

I think it's a case of him having sooo long legs, which makes him look like Bambi on ice.

Have a look at Matuidi at PSG, and you'll see the resemblance between them. 2 players getting by, despite looking as Bambi's! smile
