1) why do we buy players then play them out of position?
2) why do we spend loads of money on players but miss out on known quality like Eriksen and Shaqiri who go for quite bargain prices (both £10m purchases)
3) why do we seem to buy quality players but ruin them
4) why are we happy to spend money on rubbish players where someone from the reserves or youth could have done the same role.
5) why do we fans expect players to automatically sign for us, most players now are not even born when we last won the league.

I would be happy if we went back to basics, actually play the players we have bought otherwise what was the point unless they were bought for the future.

Sorry for moaning, I am just getting fed up of the direction we head in as a club, we seem to always gain momentum to only then throw it all away.

Don't worry,.....fsg/br are about to the turn another corner ...

If things continue this way, LFC will soon be down on that corner, and out in the streets.

And if the report I posted in the other thread is true, we offered him more than Inter.

Why would players want to play for us though? They want to play consistently yet all our previous summer signings have hardly played regularly.

Yes our club has a great history but the last 25 years yes we have won trophies but we haven't been a consistent competing team.

With all the money LFC has spent, as a player I would look at us as a club and think they don't know what they are doing.

Players shud want to play for the tika taka messiah of word football ... Br.....

I'm sure some posters will label this doom mongering or whatever, but quite honestly why would you want to come to Liverpool over Inter right now? They are in what is perceived to be a 'nicer city', have a manager with a better record, aren't doing amazing well but don't look like they have negative momentum like we do, we have just happily let our last player that had any pulling power to the club go, no one in their right mind would think we are gonna get champions league again any time soon. You would be coming to play with a bunch of mediocre 'talent' for a mediocre manager with owners who show 0 genuine ambition. I can't blame anyone for choosing them over us right now even though they aren't in the best of positions.

Because Brendan Rogers is the manager.
