he gave us his rant at a crucial time and put the pressure on our team who subsequently went on an awful run

But that's not overachieving, that's us knowing we would lose. If them things didn't happen then we would've reached our potential top place finish. Half of them are his fault, so its his fault that those expectations were too high. Maybe I didn't see your side to that- a good point too. But he was to blame for some of them. Maybe if he didn't play defensive we could've got more points? Winning the league wasn't a high expectation, IT WAS POSSIBLE, but he lost it with some poor decisions.
