Chris2402 1st Team Squad C Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 7,291	Just something to think about, who would be in your starting 11 of Liverpool players that have played alongside Steven Gerrard. (Including the great man himself of course) GK - Jose Reina RB - Markus Babbel CB - Jamie Carragher CB - Sami Hyypia LB - John Arne Riise CM - Javier Mascherano CM - Xabi Alonso CM - Steven Gerrard CF - Luis Suarez CF - Fernando Torres CF - Michael Owen Toughest decision for me doing this was leaving out Didi Hamann at the expense of Mascherano. Also Robbie Fowler (Who is my favourite LFC player) but I don't think God was at his best when he was in the same team as Gerrard, either time! I'm also unsure if Gerrard ever played in the same team as Steve McManaman? Be interesting to know what other fans think.

Fowler was never at the top of his game when he played with Gerrard where as Owen, Torres and Suarez were. God will always be my favourite ever LFC player though, I grew up watching him when he was quite simply unstoppable!
