Looked like a 3-4-3 to me. It was similar in shape to the last game against Swansea. Theoretically spoken that is!

I hope he isn't going to be given until the end of the season. An interim manager would do better than he is doing now. Someone new to freshen things up and not be such a donkey when it comes to playing the same underperforming players.

No idea what formation we were playing, Gerrard spent most of it out of position whatever formation it was.
There is only one culprit and it's Rodgers, Gerrard is not doing the team selection, the earlier Rodgers is gone the better it is. Swansea probably had an off day instead of us being outsatnding as some were concluding here, we had apparently turned some kind of a corner.

But the Swansea game was about time we played well even if they were poor.

The Shaqiri bid makes sense now, to replace Gerrard.

BR needs to grow a set and drop Gerrard permanently, how we go from excelling vs Swansea to that poor performance vs Leicester is easily explained.
The inclusion of Gerrard meant dropping the excellent Manquillo to make room for Gerrard in the team and Henderson role in the team changed.
It is clear for all to see that Gerrards legs are gone, and evident that we play better with Henderson and Lucas in midfield.
Apart from scoring 2 pens, which Lallana could have dispatched quite easily, Gerrard offered nothing to the team.
Excelling against Swansea is nothing to brag about. And if he offered nothing, well I guess he's playing like Allen, our "Welsh Xavi". I was waiting for another drop Gerrard thread from you. This made my evening. You are starting to get predictable.

The Shaqiri bid makes sense now, to replace Gerrard. might be a bit harsh, but probably a good time for him to move on. he was overly resourced by the club in my opinion and would have done himself a favour leaving after 2005. he's only human and there's only so many false promises and disappointment one person can stomach.

Well said. His loyalty is quite admirable though. I would have liked to see him get a few more medals, but such is life. Things don't always go as planned, and as LFC supporters we all understand that.
