Not exact quote but what I can remember.

To me it sounds like he is on about contract, doors closing and maybe moving in January.

If anyone offered us over 50 million I would take it, I rate Ibe much more than Sterling, his contract demands are outrageous and winning the Golden Boy award looks to have gone to his head.

Aside from Ibe we also have the young Welsh superstar Harry Wilson who I also think will become a better player than Sterling.

I have a bad feeling it may have been matters relating to Raheem's contract that had Rodgers so upset pre-conference yesterday.

Wouldn't surprise me. would explain why he said sterling had been outstanding. If he leaves I'll be firmly on the F off fsg bandwagon. Kid is nowhere near his potential. We need to keep these players and then bring the Ibe and Wilsons of the world to form that core group of liverpool grown players. Guys that are loyal to the club and have been here a while and then add quality to those players with a big contracted player.

It would seem Raheem's people makes all his decisions for him and I don't think they care very much about loyalty.

Honestly couldn't careless if he left, I'm not really one for idol worshiping. Mind you, could explain Rodgers sour mood in that presser the other day..

Personally I don't think he is worth the above 100k wages being banded about, he is very sporadic, has a poor end product and never chooses the right option in attack.

If we can get 50million then I would take it, as I said I'm much more impressed with Harry Wilson, Ibe, and Ojo.

The other factor is Sterling is a London lad, he will never stay up North for long.

I hear Bayern, RM being banded around, I don't think he is at the level to get into either of those teams, however I would not be surprised if Arsenal made a cheeky 30million bid for him, if we got 30million and asked for Ramsey in part ex I would not be too unhappy.

Either way I suspect he will leave in January or next summer, the timing of Sterlings tweet about door closing and doors opening plus BRs sour face in the press conference, could if you add 2 and 2 together, indicate that the decision has been taken out of BRs hands, just musing though.

I wouldn't want Sterling to leave but if he is demanding 100k a week at his age, I think perhaps we should consider our options and any offers...How long before he demands 200k, what Luis was on...and lets be honest, him and Luis are worlds apart. I dont think he deserves 100k a week.
