Rumours that the team selection for the game is atrocious.... haven't personally seen it, but i am worried already. We should be taking this game very seriously.

Rumours are that the team will line up as a back 3 of Toure, Skrtel, Lovren with 2 wingbacks in Moreno and Henderson, Gerrard and coutinho in the middle and a front three of Lallana, Markovic and Sterling.
Am desperately hoping it's incorrect and that Can gets a game as well as Sakho

I think Sakho and Lazar Markovic need to be on the pitch, Sakhi because he needs game time and is far better than Lovren and Markovic because he has looked very good in his past 3 appearances....

Nope, the only injuries we have are Flanagan, Balotelli and Sturridge. Sakho has only had 1 injury this season and that was a thigh strain between Sep 29th and october 17th.

Leiva, S Gerrard, A Moreno — Coutinho, R Sterling, A Lallana. But Sterling has shown that you can't rely on him to score the goals. His strength is in creating chances for a proper striker (which we may not have right now), but BR has to play the hand he's dealt which means that at least one of Borini, Balotelli and Lambert should start.

Am desperately hoping it's incorrect and that Can gets a game as well as Sakho So it's basically te same side that played against Man Utd. Looks like Rodgers is trying to emulate Van Gaal's formation, with the 532 formation.
