The 'buck' stops with the manager but I don't believe that our performances are all his fault. Suarez & Sturridge aside, we are still able to field the same team that battered all in our way last season.

Did the performances of suarez, sterling & sturridge simply hide the fact that everyone else was rubbish? It's looking that way, isn't it? Sadly, the players he brought in have done nothing and we probably have better in our development squad or on the fringe of the 1st team.

In all honesty, based on what we've seen so far, not one of the current 1st team (sterling aside perhaps) deserves to be playing for the club...and I include Gerrard in that. He gives nothing anymore other than a threat from set pieces.

A good manager doesn't play a midfield of Gerrard, Lucas, Allen & Hendo as there are ZERO goals there (little harsh on Stevie assist wise) but seriously, that has to be the most stale midfield in the competition - yet Rodgers goes back to it time and again

I'm talking lack of assists there also, not just the complete lack of goals.

P.S. Yes, I believe stability in the managerial position is still more important than any single player coming or going. I think Rodgers is still a great manager, I think he still has what it takes and I think he deserves AT LEAST until the end of the season, after last years heroics.

It is not his fault Sturridge has been injured or that the new signings haven't started as well as they should. His only fault for me this season is how how stubborn he has been with the formation and one up front, however he sees the team in training every day and I am sure he knows better than us what he is doing.

So yes, I am firmly in the "DON"T SACK RODGERS" camp for now, give him until the end of the season at least.

Agree.. The fella somehow, even if accidentally (because of Suarez, Sturridge & Sterling), got us 2nd spot last season. For that he deserves a chance to right this wrong until the end of this season. We'll have better idea how he deals with adversity by then.

It does not happen often I agree with marko it would be crazy to sack rodgers now only to replace by a half measure that we regret again in 12 months time. The club needs to take a long hard look at the structure the personnel and the processes because our problems go far beyond the manager. And marko only pointed out rumors that were occurring in Serbia nothing wrong in that especially when they turned out to be true. This does not mean in think nothing is wrong but we can't afford to keep messing up like this

Better than a visit to Santa if it were true, but a "review” is a far cry from removal, unfortunately, however where there’s rumours, there’s hope, so let us hope.
