Yes you are unfortunately mistaken, Barcelona sold him to Roma for £12million in 2011. They resigned him for £13million and loaned him to Ajax for the 2013/14 season and yes they won the league.

He was sold in July 2011 to Italian side AS Roma for a fee of €12 million. Whilst in Rome he scored seven goals in 37 appearances in 2011–12 and then spent the 2012–13 on loan at Milan where he scored three goals in 27 games. Roma did not exercise their option of additional €28 million to sign Bojan definitively and so Barcelona re-signed him for €13 million. He spent the 2013–14 season on loan at Dutch club Ajax for whom he played 24 games and scored 4 goals in the Dutch league. In July 2014 Bojan joined English Premier League club Stoke City for €1.8 million.

Don't know where I was wrong really. Didn't he play for Ajax last season? Was he a success there? Sold for €1.8 million to Stoke!

He is the type of player we should be staying away from. Looks a good player to me, but then again he is another flavor of the month player who we will have to overpay to get.

Didn't we sign enough average Premiership players in the Summer? When will people realise that it's all well and good looking decent for Stoke or Crystal Palace but these type of players have not got it in them to make the step up.

We keep making the same transfer mistakes, Downing, Carroll, Adam,Lallana, Allen, all bought from smaller clubs and didn't or can't make the step up.

Bingo, we've been the same for years. Supporters give out about signings but then want us to sign the type of player that has been rubbish for us for years.

Like someone else has said, it's the flavour of the month, everyone wanted Koeman as manager a couple of weeks ago!

I'm sure they still want him today.
