I think he won the league with Chelsea but got sacked because he didn't do much in the CL.

Good god are we all deluded or what. I love this bleedin club and have been a fan since 74 when I was 6 years old. But football has changed it's all about money now. LFC will only compete for the league when they realise that the only way to win the league is to buy it. To do that you need a top manager and a war chest to get the best players and it does not matter if the club can afford it or not. The current moneyball experiment can't and won't work. A benefactor with more money than sense is the only way that any club will win the league. There is only one exception to this rule and it is the scum. They are the only club that don't need the sugar daddy because they tapped into the PL change.They have the revenue generating brand to do it. We could have done it but were not clever enought to cop on to what was happening. We need to buy it plain and simple. It's about time we realised this. It's a simple fact !!!
