It just baffles me as to how a keeper like Mig has blagged his way into making a £70,000 weekly salary when he can't even kick a ball. Honestly I've seen Sunday league goalkeepers who have better technique than him. Surely he will be out the door or at least dropped by next month?
Unless FSG suddenly decide to bail Rodgers out with more money, then would you be happy to see Brad Jones as our No1?
Mignolet isn't as bad as people make out. He is predictably being made a scapegoat just because he is the last line of defence. If our back 4 were any good it would be a totally different story. Admittedly, he's had a few shockers but that's what happens when the whole team is playing badly. We 'could' drop him but we'd still have 10 poor outfield players exposing the GK so the situation would't change.
