Regardless of FSG, I can't see Kloop choosing us over the Arse or possibly City.

I just ask myself what could we offer that Dortmund can't even if they are in the drop zone? My answer is always nothing !

What can we offer?

History, amazing fans, one of the BIG names of European football.
A chance for Klopp to be the only German manager to succeed in England.

We cling to history like last season and we are going nowhere fast.

noun [oops]·trar·i·an \kən-ˈtrer-ē-ən, kän-\.
If all else fails say that word outstanding a couple of times. The more you do the more you will believe your own spin.

Don't Dortmund have a decent history? Don't they have great fans and get about 70k in their stadium? Not sure he'd be bothered about being the only German to succeed in England either.

Plus he'd have to work to the same conditions as Rodgers with the committee, wage structure, type of player to sign etc. Why would any top manager want to do that? They'll want to buy the best players for their team not the player with the best potential resale value. You need to get real if you think he'll touch us with a barge pole!

Do you think Klopp had much more than BR to spend in his Dortmund career? I also think that the wage structure at Dortmund is less than LFC. In your all right you can be convinced that no good manager would wish to come to LFC, while I think that there are a lot of managers who are better than BR, despite not being in the same league as Mourhino, Guardiola and Ancelotti

But it's not about how much you have to spend it's what your restricted to spending it on. I'm not trying to defend Rodgers signings just pointing out that no top class manager would want to come here and be restricted in such ways.

And we also don't want to be getting just another manager of the same type or someone just slightly better. We need to be aiming for the best there is which FSG will not do as they'd have to pay a tidy sum for them and also give them lots of cash for transfers.

As bad as it is, I fear we're stuck with him like it or not.
