Yeah I'd sell him. Absolutely no consistency. We'd get back what we paid at least.

FSG are reaping what they sow and as usual we are on the tail end of it. Read Rogers's comments after the game he references yet again:

"We've got the model at the football club to bring in young players. So we've got a lot of young players who don't have experience and some who don't have experience of the league. But I think this is a group that is doing their best."

He has his directives and has basically bowed to the trappings of a highly prestigious job and all it entails. In hindsight he will probably look back and realise he shouldn't have accepted the terms. I'm not excusing the mistakes but this can't go on.

Will these clowns realise you can't rebuild a squad in real time at LFC like that? Probably not. They seem as stubborn as Rogers does to change things.

They are all equally culpable for this Feckin mess.

Look at the change in Suarez under BR compared to under Kenny.
BR made Suarez into the player he is now.

Rodgers never made Suarez into the player he is now, he just matured to reach his peak and by doing so also hid Rodgers weaknesses. I am sure another manager with the same current squad would do better than Rodgers, there is no option but him to be sacked, we do not have anything to lose as we are not going to qualify for CL under Rodgers this season. We need to try something, this shiite cannot continue.

I think he's got two games to turn this round Vish and then I fear it's only buying a little time to the inevitable.

The CL game we need to dig out a result and the following PL game. If those two go the wrong way I think the fans at Anfield will sadly be calling for him to go.

I just hope some of the venom is also directed towards the owners hopefully they won't be too far behind Rogers IF a miracle doesn't occur.

Not sure how the owners can be blamed for us not being able to keep a clean sheet, which is our main problem still. We scored first yesterday but couldn't hold the result and BR has spend some 60m on defence since he arrived, not sure who has spent that much except probably City. I do blame the owners for having appointed a rookie unproven manager though.

Rodgers has a budget which was increased massively this season due to Suarez leaving, he has the final say on all transfers, he chose those players. Rodgers can spend what he likes as long as he sticks to the budget, he probably thought, why spend 50 mil on 1 players when I can get 2 for the same price.

Be realistic, Rodgers doesn't have the pull in world football to bring world class players to this squad, he's a glorified youth coach who takes punts on young players hoping to develop them.

That is complete and utter tripe.

He has final say on transfers note the word 'final' he does not have complete control of the process from start to end. If there isn't a £50 million player on the committee list (which there isn't) but a Ballo,Borrini and Gayle he has final pick out of the short-list.

BIG difference. Tired if hearing this. Dunk has referenced the process on his vids, BR has mentioed it many times (I even quoted it a post or two above) and Gerrard has also mentioned it.

Does it excuse some of the buys? Absolutely not but let's not try and say Rogers can go out and get WC at competitive money because he flat-out cannot.

FSG didn't splash the cash last winter when it would (possibly) have made a difference to us winning the title so there is very little chance of them spending this winter.
