FSG should be busting a gut to sign this guy. Ticks all the boxes. Been there, seen it, done that as a player and is currently motivating a squad who should (by LFC logic) be devastated at losing compatriots. Produces results on a relative shoestring and... dare I say... that guilty word, ENTERTAINMENT for the fans??!

Really sorry for anyone connected to Southampton but come on FSG, sign him up!

BTW I am not saying we should sack BR but Mr Koeman appears an infinitely better alternative at present, and football is a mercenary business.

I'm not saying he is not a better manager than Rodgers. But how is he?

Rodgers had good spells at Swansea to. Koeman is only a few months in his job. Again not saying he won't be a good manager but sometimes you get luck in football and everything clicks into place.

I'll judge Koeman after a couple of seasons at Southampton, not after a couple of months in the premier league. He could be yet another one season wonder.

But so far he is doing a great job.

He's had 11 good games and we should go for him? Great idea that!

The guy is doing well. He has signed players who would be bargain basement buys for us and is turning them into a good team.

Give him a bigger club and bring him to Liverpool by all means and with all probability
you will get a result like the one Scum got when they took on Moyes.

Completely agree with you. Just feel that if a gamble on a previously untested manager is worth taking, Koeman is the one. His intellect is not in doubt, assessments at post-match conferences have been most impressive and very honest.

And what have we achieved/will we achieve in addition to them? (apart from a greater wage bill of about £500 million a year)?

IF Rogers was to be replaced then I would agree that Koeman would be the man for the job.i'm sure top players around the world would be more interested in playing for Liverpool and Koeman than they would with Liverpool and Rogers.

Six months down the line after Koeman gets the job we would be seeing posts on this forum calling for his head. And at the time Steve Bruce will have won 10 games on the bounce for Hull, so of course he will be the ideal replacement for our failing manager. My point? Sacking the manager and replacing him with no better, will not do us any good. Its just going be a continued cycle of mediocrity if thats the case. Stability is key to long-term success in my opinion. The problem lies beyond the manager. Rodgers has made mistakes this season, absolutely no doubt about that. But replacing him is not a feasible option.

I never finish anythi
