SG needs a rest and Borini & Lambert deserve a crack. I wouldnt have Ballotelli on the bench!!! Give Suso a crack if Broini isnt working And why would Lambert deserve a crack, he has been crap even worst than Balotelli

I agree that Lambert hasnt set the world on fire, but worse than Ballotelli? Hull play a phyical game, may suit Lambert. Either start Lambert up front, or throw Sterling up front with Borini (light weight but fast up front then), and bring in another midfielder.
Is Suso, injured? Not sure, but if fit could be an option.

Yeah he did have a break, but he looked tired during the RM game. BR needs to stop running him for the full 90, maybe give him 60 minutes a game, look after them old legs. I agree he is a better player then most around him, he just does not move the way he used to. That then puts pressure on those around him particualrly in defence, his age is catching up with him. SG is one of my all time favourite players, but he is not getting the job done at the moment and yes it is because of his age.

next two games are massive , have to keep the league alive and MUST stay in the league cup to try to bring some confidence back to the squad , so rodgers must shake the team up a bit .

the bloody league cup should be the least of our worries. we need to rest all the main players for those kind of games. we MUST put all our effort in the PL and CL games and not the micky mouse cup
