That's certainly something that needs addressing. What is Rodgers actually doing to sort that defence because whatever he's doing, it's not working! Mignolet seems to be getting not better but worse and did Rodgers buy into his own hype when he thought he could turn Balotelli's career around?

Roma just got 7 from Bayern with better form than ours. Its our first season back to champions league with nearly half the squad never playing champions league or even worst faced a squad with the class of madrid. No one expected 2nd last season but we got it so everyone is expecting the same performance even though 3 out of four players in the starting 11 are new, we lost both strikers from last season. Even with all the odds against us we are 2 goals adrift the second place qualifying position in our group, and 3 goals adrift 4th spot in the league with Man u Arsenal Spurs and everton our main rival for champions league next season below us.
No doubt we have work to do but get it all into context. Which team in our group expected to beat madrid.
