Apologies, I shall explain. Last season I may have been confident going into a game of this scale. We had a World Class player, we lost said player over the summer and the plan seemed to be replace him with more goals in midfield and a stronger defence. This was wise as we'd never be able to replace Luis like for like. However the transfers have come in, our defence looks worse than ever and the midfield isnt cutting it either. On top of that our next best player, Daniel Sturridge, is injured. We're without a strike partnership that contributed 50 goals ( please note that's why Darcus comment about us scoring 100 goals is stewpid) and have a lazy overrated striker leading the line. I'd love for us to win, but realistically I just don't see it happening. Real Madrid buy quality, we buy quantity.

liverpool fans are so defeatist is totally embarrassing , to some wednesday is a forgone conclusion and liverpool may aswell not turn up , well i say Liverpool will turn up and WILL beat Real Madrid , this defeatist attitude is not needed and way off the mark , ok not playing at top form yet , but liverpool are probably about 3 point off what they should be and the form will improve starting wednesday , start supporting the team and STOP the defeatist nonsense . just gonna leave this here. Rather pathetic to be honest, you're obviously a [beep]. (Please note the *beep* is open to interpretation.) I'd consider it pathetic for someone to call fans being realistic 'defeatist', and then make bold unsubstantiated claims. He deserved to have his post repeated after calling out so many other fans. And I'd be careful about name calling towards other fans and other such forum faux pas' with a chosen username like yours.

The first thing Flames did after we lost was bump Fazs' post. Also, Flames only likes to make appearances when we're losing - maybe it's just a coincidence. Finally, my username is awesome.

I'm with MKG on this. What flames did was pretty pathetic. Just because faz believed we would win, which we could have done, doesn't mean he should be singled out for ridicule.
