I think Schevchenko was forced on him by Roman a bit but very valid point - all managers have their share of duds.

I share the same view, over one season a manager cant become bad. I agree he makes crazy subs, and is stubborn at times. He has got the know how and the skill.

Take the game last week, the only thing we did wrong was not score, cos we have a inexperienced striker upfront.

Without Fernando and Stevie G, we are very poor. If rafa can get quality players like Reina, Fernanado, Stevie i have no doubt, we will be up there.

My heart will never be happy with Mourinho managing LFC. he didnt respect our fans and the club when he was at chelsea.

bad buys, good buys. name a manager that has a 100% record of buying players that fit in and play well. Benitez has made bad buys but he has also made some world class signings. I just wish we were able to keep hold of players like Crouch, Bellamy, Garcia, when we financed the purchase of Torres.

We seem to have to buy to sell to a certain extent and only when this stops will we have a great squad and that is when we should judge the manager whoever it may be.

I for one would like to see Benitez buy who he feels he needs without having to sell this summer and the judge at the end of next season. whether that will happen who knows.

I also dont think Jose Mourinho will come without any assurances as to spending. If he doesnt come then who do you get. who else can lead us to the premier league title.

Benitez may well be the only other viable option. He must be doing something right why else would Real Madrid & Juve be linked with him.
