liverpool fans are so defeatist is totally embarrassing , to some wednesday is a forgone conclusion and liverpool may aswell not turn up , well i say Liverpool will turn up and WILL beat Real Madrid , this defeatist attitude is not needed and way off the mark , ok not playing at top form yet , but liverpool are probably about 3 point off what they should be and the form will improve starting wednesday , start supporting the team and STOP the defeatist nonsense .

We'll see a really good LFC performance Wednesday, Anfield will be rocking. Madrid will give us chances, can we take them and somehow restrict theirs? Lets hope so!

even the great liverpool teams lost games , IE in the 70's liverpool league champs and champions of europe , destroyed benfica in lisbon 4-0 , the saturday after got knocked out the F.A. Cup by second division chelsea 4-1 .

My first memories of Liverpool FC were coming out of the Kop on a cold day the smell of cigarette smoke and how useless tommy smith was being spoken by the huge men either side of me who spoke in a strange dialect. I am pretty sure if we had the internet and social media in 1967 it would be pretty much the same. Unless the human race has changed
