Thats a fair comment but he will only get one season to prove himself. If we don't win trophies with big backing and decent summer buys then question will be asked and rightfully so.

for me rafa has only ever made 2 mistakes the 'rafa rant' and letting alonso go apart from this season i look on rafa's reign fondly and no not just because of istanbul but before rafa we where nowhere and we have challenged for the title 2 in 5 years and that is with spending less than half the money our title rivals were/are spending he should get one summer and one season with money real money so maybe we could go in for a player with chelsea and man utd maybe the player would choose chelsea or utd but if can match their bids that is huge step in the right direction and even though emp can't listen to reason when it comes to rafa every body else can agree that he isnt a fool who knows nothing about football and he should be able to have the money after what he has put up with over the past few seasons

havent we finished 2nd twice under rafa (we must have challenged both of those seasons)and last season we finished with the highest number of points in 2nd ever in the PL and you didnt miss them to choose not to see them because you are like a politician, a c*nt and he chased out our best players as in plural? nope im only remembering alonso ...witch you need to get over by the way so witch of our other best players has he chased out of LFC then ?

i don't have time to look through what's been said earlier in this thread but all i have to say is rafa must leave, he can't stay. simple as that...

house, we have only finished 2nd once during rafas time here (last season). we played great football from late february until the last day but imo we through away the title already in the autumn when we drew 3 or 4 home games playing very cautiously against teams such as west ham and fulham.

hope we dont begin to look like real madrid, but with rafa im certain we wont, cuz its rafas team, and he knows the players he wants and doesnt want, with some 80 mil on for the war chest, rafa will bring us glory
