I don't think Rodgers should be replaced, not at all, but I certainly don't think it's astonishing that some fans want a response, though Rodgers out is inappropriate I feel. I said it during the summer and I still feel the same way now, the fact that we were left with Mario Balotelli as a replacement for Suarez should have been cause for some kind of inquest, somebody or a number of people surely couldn't have done their jobs correctly with over a year to prepare for the potential loss of Suarez. I hope Mario does well, I really do.. just as much as any Liverpool fan but I was certain he wouldn't hit the ground running at Liverpool and that was exactly what we required. Didn't BR always said that he didn't want to rely on 1 player? We got 75m for Suarez and everybody knew more or less that unless we could sign Messi or Ronaldo, we would not be able to replace him like for like. The trick was to improve other areas and I still think we have except the central midfield where we needed a top top player, but BR didn't even look interested and we should have bought a forward whose attribute is to run into space, not like Mario. (Unless BR thought/thinks he can change him)

I'm just astonished that some fans are thinking of changing managers once again this early. Its totally disrespectful to Rodgers and what he has achieved last season with a small squad. I am very confident that Rodgers will fix liverpool and we will go on a run again and challenge. Injuries to the spine of the team hasn't helped and he had to bed more players then he needed to very early into the season thus our lack of form. Be careful what you wish for, Rodgers is the first proper manager we had in a while. It's absolute fuckingmadness is what it is - I've never heard anything like it. Those injuries have forced way to many new players into the team too early - add to that Suarez leaving & Danny being out.. no wonder we're still finding our feet this season FFS. Calling for Rodgers head is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard It actually pissses me off to be honest

There's only a very small minority calling for Rodgers to be sacked now. Whilst the jury is still out on the question of whether he is the real deal, i believe it's too early to remove him and the uncertainty/mess it could cause would not be in the interests of the club. However, that's not to say that we can't have a discussion about his actions, how much responsibility he has for our underwhelming start to the season and what we might do if fears about his capabilities turn out to be true. I don't think it's disrespectful to him at all - it's not as if we're chanting out names of alterntive managers at the games. It's just a discussion... loud thinking.... what if this happens, wht if that happens, why always us etc.... just something to pass some time and keep us from rioting on the street

yea, i think its the transfer policy at liverpool that bothers me the most. i.e. not buying star players.

(Unless BR thought/thinks he can change him) I'm not suggesting for a minute that Rodgers is at fault for not replacing Suarez like for like, let's face it, that was an impossible task. As you said yourself, we should have been looking for a striker who could run into space and had similar attributes to Suarez, Mario is a million miles from that.

De gea made a string of great saves today. He's already made the difference of as many as 6 points over the course of a few games. What I'd do for a top goal keeper between the liverpool sticks

Utd looked bloody average this afternoon - thing is nEverton didn't look arsed themselves. When Utd defend they don't close down and completely stand off the player - there is so much space in that midfield / defence it's unreal.
We have more than our fair share of problems right now, but Utd are in a far worse off position IMO. They will win games, but they will lose substantially more than us this season - guarantee it.
