if we were playing like last year, then my view wouldnt make sense. We are playing like we did THIS TIME last year. We were never without both Suarez and Sturridge at the same time so got the results that we're not this season.

Yes we were. But playing pretty ropey and getting some single goal victories. It wasn't until after Xmas that we kicked on.

Yes we were. But playing pretty ropey and getting some single goal victories. It wasn't until after Xmas that we kicked on. Really? I just checked and last season after 7 games we were 2nd behind Arsenal with 16 pts, this is nothing like this season

Yes but that doesn't tell you about how we played does it? We drew with Swansea and lost to Southampton. We won our first three just 1 - 0 too. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but the games I watched, even the wins, seemed far from assured.

There have been narrow unassured wins from City, Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea against weaker opposition too. WBA have been playing well and we knew this game would be no stroll. In fact, most of the experts on this site predicted a loss. I thought we'd lose based on what I've seen so far! Unlike some though I'm glad we won.

But we are playing worse so far this season, mwe have had one convincing won, against Spurs a team that WBA beat.
