The bubble will grow for many years yet but when the market is saturated it won't pop it will just stop growing. Prices have probably reached the top end in the uk but they won't go backwards and if you believe that it will one day be the game for the people and return to £20 a ticket your in for a rude awakening

I don't recall saying it will fall to £20 and I never said it would pop but never mind. I don't disagree with some of the above but I think the time it's stopped growing is almost upon us certainly in the uk when Manchester United don't sell out you know you are in trouble and this was happening while ferguson was around. There will be growth in overseas revenue but the extent of it us totally overblown mainly because last time I looked premiership football was played in England and ultimately there is only so far it can go as a remote TV product because ultimately those countries want their own teams their own heros it's different in the uk because seeing the team is still realistically possible which makes it more attractive TV wise and yes I know you can visit from Korea or whatever but not for the masses which is where the money is volume wise it's not really practical so it's attraction will ultimately be less other than for the fanatic fan who you will always get anywhere

A agree growth in the uk is over! Ticket prices shouldnt go above current prices, but I still think the premier league has huge growth left on a global level

There is scope to increase prices overseas on TV rights given the news from Virgin and BT mean the Brits have been squeezed till the pips squeak. I am niot convinced about huge volume growth though simply because there is a limit to how popular an overseas sport can be plus from our perspective given these will be new fans given what we are like today how many will choose Liverpool over city and Chelsea ?

I think that you don't know how popular football, particularly the EPL is abroad, you really have no idea.

I have been abroad vish believe it or not very popular in the Far East not so in America on my travels anyway they look at you like you have come from the moon when you ask for it to be put on. The only American city I have been to where they seem to understand is New York and maybe Boston but I have not been there. And for the Far East a lot is for the tourists anyway most if whom are Brits Aussies or European.

But that us just a supplement it will never support the club and even if it did how many of those 12 year old Chinese are going to support Liverpool ? They will choose a team that wins and has an impressive Looking stadium not a patched up club living off past memories

Definitely, the 12 year old chinese will choose the team winning trophies but they won't give a flying f*ck about the stadium, dead sure about that. We all know what soccer is in the US but it's growing, however Asia and Africa it is a major thing and growing with satellite tv spreading everywhere. You surely know US better than me but nowhere near me when it comes to Africa and India, don't even try. Have you ever been to India or Sub Sahatan Africa?

I have been to North Africa many times but that looks to be a powder keg satellite TV is the last thing on their mind. No I have never been to India but I understand the sport there is cricket not football. India is growing economically and I think they will follow their own sports albeit yes they will watch some premiership. Anyone who has been to America especially the west and mid states will know they will never ever adopt a foreign sport over their own they are probably the most insular democracy there is even the news is all domestic. I disagree the Chinese will not care about the stadium they like big impressive architecture you only have to look at their modern cities to see. It's all part of the package and associating yourself with success and impressive things. None of which apply to Liverpool FC and recently we seem to be going backwards even more.

I don't give a flying f*uck about the stadium just as my mates here who watch probably more games than you on tv, I wonder why you would think it would be very different with young Chinese, in fact you don't know. By the way India is investing a lot of money right now with the Indian Super league starting on the 12th of October. Last but not least North Africa is not part of Sub Saharan Africa. To finish, I'm done with you because you are too stubborn to debate with and probably you think you know much more than you actually do about the world, maybe because you have problems with the internet. So good night.

You and your Mates vish are not representative of two continents I am not stubborn i just have an opinion and if I think I am right I like to argue my case. I don't ever recall you conceding anything come to think if it. And by the way I do watch football on TV we have televisions in the UK I pay £50 a month to watch sports on TV in addition to my normal TV package and I do look at the stadium. What do you do screen your eyes with your fingers so you can see only the grass ?
