Roy keane is a real hard arse steel head.

Unfortunately i dont think he will cut it as a top top manager.

He does have the right mentality, but he needs a bit of refining and polishing

Roy Keane and right mentality don't go in the same sentence. He walked out on his team from the WC after having a bustup with McCarthy. He intimidated fellow footballers at ManU and the last thing we need is some knucklehead at Anfield who drives everyone up the wall

McCarthy is indeed one of the biggest pr!cks in football - and that was even before he fielded a weakened team against the scum.

I hope the fcker goes down by 1 point, although doesn't look likely unfortunately

mccarthy fecked that world cup up. keane single handedly qualified us for that world cup and mccarthy went and accused him of faking on injury, in front of all the players and staff
. as for intimidating fellow players, thats whats football is about and if they had him now they wouldn't of lost against munich or drew against blackburn.

Yes they would have he's 38

The row during the world cup was over the traing facilities and nothing to do with him feigning injury.

Emp stop making stuff up.

I agree with you mate. I've been thinking over the transfer kitty and on reflection the team doesn't require major surgery it just needs a more attack minded manager! Of course I wouldn't turn down 2 quality players being added but when you see how well the team can play, i.e the recent games at home v Sunderland and Benfica you realise that when the shackles are off we're a bloody good team, but Rafa doesn't do this enough. Maybe Mourinio would take a chance of working with the the best striker and keeper in Europe and two of the best midfielders in Masch and Gerrard. The team has huge potential under the right man, it just needs setting up right and given some confidence from some decent man management. I think Mourinio is the man to do that.

How can you respect a man like Keane who lets face it walked out on his country on the eve of a world cup? Still think your wrong with regards to McCarthy accusing him of feigning injury.
