I believe that Brendan will sort it out.the performance last season. The performance when he was with swansea tells me that he can sort it out. Last season we played the first few matches without Suarez and we were on top of the league. I think whats happening this season is we and the players are just expecting to win every match and that is because of last season's performance. This is making the players to rush it a bit and trying to force the goals rather than relaxing and playing their own game.Once our players forget about winning and losing and just enjoy playing football then they will perform just like last season if not better.
Except for our forwards our squad improved in all the other positions.
So lets hope we hit our good form as early as possible. Hopefully against Bassel.

Expectations are much higher this season and BR is not used to this kind of pressure, we'll see how he guides the players.

I don't think expectations are higher. Mine certainly are not. We were always going to be better last season with managers changing and no European football at all. I think it would be a great achievement to finish top 4 this season.
Having said that I think that our play as the season goes on will be better suited to the CL.
But in the Prem we must be comfortable with playing two up top and keeping the opposing back 4 busy. We are letting teams off the hook and trying to use Balotelli as some kind of battering ram. He is not that type of player. He has a bit more finesse about him.

Expectations are much higher this season and BR is not used to this kind of pressure, we'll see how he guides the players. You are right, but I believe he can handles it.

yeah i think he could if he had the players, but therein lies his and our problems, and we havent met one of the top teams yet. Unless we up our game considerably in all areas we could be embarrassed when we do meet them, and without Suarez i'm yet to be convinced we can substantially up our game. Time will tell, but I wish I had the op's confidence.

Time will tell, but I wish I had the op's confidence. City and Spurs are top teams (well City are anyway), and we played both of them away from home without being embarrassed. I think we'll be fine, the players just need to settle a bit, and with Sturridge back Balotelli will have a proper partner up top and we should create a lot more space and chances

Although we conceded lots of goals so far. I think our defence will surprise us with great form soon!!!!
