Well brace yourselves folks. It's gonna happen sooner or later. I won't be surprised if we lose both Sterling and Sturridge if they have a fairly good season. The Barca's and Real's of this world do to the Liverpool's of this world what the Liverpool's of this world do to the Southampton's of this world.
I'm surprised there were no rumours about Sturridge in the summer. I'd like to think if the two of the have good seasons that it means we have a good season and there'll be no reason to leave?
I've mentioned that about Sturridge before, but I think that's because no one would be willing to pay a sizeable fee for him (the kind that would make us sell). Sure he's a good premier league striker, one of the better ones, but he hasn't shown that he's really top class yet in my opinion as he wasn't the main man last year. He needs to repeat last years heroics, then I think top clubs will start to look at him.
