This shows how some think

of course not, criminals should be treated as such, regardless of race. I find this theory that police were scared to act because they were afraid to be called racists very naive. I don't see the point of your post though. Are you suggesting non white people are getting away with crime because the police are scared of being called racist?

Perhaps you should take a look at arrest statistics. You'll notice that people of colour are stopped and arrested more than white people and that is not because they necessarily commit more crimes.

Thats excatly what I am saying yes and there is no doubt about it as senior police officers have resigned and a number of council officers. The enquiries are ongoing and its a national scandal it does not sound like you are very clued up on this issue nothing new there then.

I read that same article and the folowing stood out:

men who were predominantly of Pakistani origin between 1997 and 2013

It said "shocking" abuse was happening "up and down the country", but did not single out towns and cities in its study.

A court heard the men had acted "under the noses" of the authorities who showed "almost wilful blindness".

Speaking in 2011 after the jailing of two of the men, former Home Secretary Jack Straw suggested some men of Pakistani origin saw white girls as "easy meat". The judge in the case said the race of the victims and their abusers was "coincidental".

A gang of five males was jailed in February after being found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting five vulnerable girls.

The men and youths were of Czech and Slovak Roma and Kurdish backgrounds.

Last time I looked they weren't black or of color. Gross generalization come to mind.

Sexual abuse is sickening and perpetrators should be castrated. It is huge business all over the world and as long as sick people are in charge regardless of the color of their skin, this will continue.

I don't agree the same over sensitivity lead to the police docisl workers and council officers being to scared to act. The ridiculous fuss over the stupid twiiter conversations of a bunch of aimless idiots is a symptom of the over political correctness in Britain that allows vile crimes to flourish

I think if you check the statistics they do particularly in the inner cities where gang crime and knife and gun offences are high the greatest danger to black people are other black people in the inner cities particularly London. Which is why the police target it and so they should

Just done a simple google search of gun knife and voilent crime in London the overwhelming (between 54 and 67 percent defending in crime ) are black normally black on black where the perpertrators and the victims are black which is why the police target it. Once again marko you talk about facts but most if the time you talk off the top of your head

Everyone can google as much as they like unless your living in that environment you cant really understand it. If you really think 54-67% of arrests are black people you have to question as a minority that is very high.

I agree with you in google but stop and search has caused problems for years in the inner cities especially london the police claim they are targeting crime and all the statistics point to a disproportionately higher rate of voilent crime in ethnic minorities unless you believe it's because the police are racist every single one of them. And as I pointed out the vast majority of the victims are black too so if we were to ignore the statistics for politically correct reasons them the people who would suffer would be those ethinic minorities.

Got back home and I'm lost on this thread. What's the debate now? Has it anything to do with Balotelli? I thought it was all dusted, ie, a big idiot abused a much smaller idiot, are people denying this?

In the late 80s and 90s black people were stop in London quite a lot by police without any reason.
