when i look back over the 2005 CL, we actually didnt perform great. good spells came in busts i.e. olympiakos, milan, but as a whole we played a bit sh*t and were constantly on the verge of going out, except for leverkeusen. its not disimilar to how we are still performing, the odd good spell but as a whole, a bit sh*t.
that's true. we were sh*te in the group stage against monaco and olympiakos (away).
aqui isn't the only bad signing lately. the last 5-6 players rafa has brought in has been mediocre at best.
