But it won't pragmatism is the order of the day by many on here not ambition from the title to the stadium. Let's be realistic is the mantra. Good job Christopher Columbus did not think that way we would still be living in caves I wasn't aware Christopher Columbus invented modern housing...

Can't see us finishing outside top 4. I think we are still better than Arsenal, I don't think Welbeck is. good signing for them, I'll be surprised if he gets 10 goals. I also think we have a good chance of finishing above City. Stoke showed they are far from unbeatable, I know we lost to them but we now have a run of very winnable games and I think we'll be going in to Christmas and second half of the season full of confidence.
Second or third I believe with outside chance of winning but I give us a much better chance of winning the league than I would have this time last year as I'm sure everyone would as it seemed unthinkable at the time

I think we have made some very good signings and have only slipped up v City so far. I don't expect Arsenal to finish above us and I think Scumchester will still finish outside top 4. If we can put a run together we could scare Chelsea out of it but we will need a bit of luck.
Could be close again between us Chelsea and City but I expect top 3 given how some of the new signings have contributed so far.

We should go for the title, no reason not to and if we miss out and finish 2nd or 3rd then fine as long as we are involved in the title race. Absolutely ! I can't believe in September when we have made a decent start with new players to come in there are people out there who are not aiming for the title. Yeah I fully agree we should be aiming for the title, and I think it's a shame that realistically it's further away this season than last season and that's because we sold our only world class player and then replaced him with another ass load of hopefuls and a gamble! If we fail to challenge this season, or god forbid fall out of the top 4 I for one will be calling FSG out, out, out!

Oh and Stanley, its not a personal Cheap shot, it is what you said yourself. I will give him a fair crack of the whip he does have something about him unlike Aspas who was awful. If he performs as he did for Sunderland he might come on as sub and get the odd useful goal which can make the difference

All the signings have looked very good so far,markovic looks like he will be a star in a few years,can looks like a gerrard replacement and i think balotelli will light up the premier league,lovren looks solid and moreno well i think he will be the best out of the lot of the new signings.

people should not discuss the man city game, our new signings didnt have a chance to play + its irrelevant now as they lost to stoke, so our points are level.
