Well, we haven't won the damn thing in 20 years. But we were pretty damn close last year. I expect us to challenge it. Rodgers and the team have said that we're aiming to win every competition we're in this year.

We lost the title last session by two points and took it to the wire, Therefore it's not unreasonable to expect to challenge for it this year. Or would that upset FSG putting unreasonable demands on them? No. I'm more referring to your point that as Liverpool fans we should always expect to win. Why would that ever change? These are your words and views from the last few days How well or poorly we did last year would be irrelevant surely if thats your belief

But we should be staking a claim this year.

But it won't pragmatism is the order of the day by many on here not ambition from the title to the stadium. Let's be realistic is the mantra. Good job Christopher Columbus did not think that way we would still be living in caves You are such a hypocrite. Last year you were aiming for 4th.

But in a thread a day or 2 ago you stated that Liverpool fans should always expect to win and used this very statement as a pop at people who don't agree with you on the stadium issue.
