We need flexiability to go somewhere towards 100k yes reading the echo anfield us being surrounded by commercial developments and houses so we really are forever limited the council will no doubt allow latitude to develop the Kop and centenary at some point in the future but that's the best the club can ever do for all time

And how do you know that our rivalS will be looking at 80k and beyond? Only United will probably. City is struggling to fill their 48k stadium and haven't heard Arsenal talking on extension. So on top of being a part time accountant you are also an engineer and architect or what? How do you know that 70k will not fit into the footprint?

Imagine if we had this magical way of finding out the size or dimensions of landmarks around the world, without ever going there. Whoa.....mindblown.

No substitute for seeing things for real marko you can't live your life wholly through the internet although you are making a damn good attempt at it

There is an eventual plan to extend the stadium to 70k when they eventually replace the Kop and centenary although given they built the main stand in 1973 41 years ago and they have recently rebuild these stands that could be 30 years hence or more. The echo website also indicates they are building commercial businesses around the ground so 70k really is it for all time. Vish says how do I know other clubs will be wanting to go to 70 k and beyond I don't. But if they do we are stuffed. Vish also says city can't fill 48k funny that because if he goes to the eithad today he would see lots of cranes as they are extending it. Long term it can be any size it likes due to the space. In twenty years time I am confident city will have the support base of Liverpool (as was) or Manchester United. Also I see vish is poking fun saying I am a part time accountant that's a sure sign he is losing the argument whatever my circumstances are, are nothing whatsoever to do with Liverpool's stadium problem.

It seems to me you spend more time at the etihad and old trafford, and with your Manchester supporting mates than you do at Andield with other kopites. How easily people can be bought, one shiny stadium is all it takes.
