I was getting those Pictures and Line-ups from 2 different sources.
The second of which said they left at 2 nil to us with 30 mins to go..
The other said it was 4 nil to us...
I've only just seen these further tweets in relation to the confirmed scoreline.

good idea to arrange a behind closed doors game , especially for lallana and mario .

I've always thought that these types of friendly games could be arranged throughout the season.
International Friendlies being the optimum time to give those fringe players game time when everyone else is away.
Would give them valuable match time against Championship level teams would be appropriate.
Having these fringe players fit and able to come on during gaames from a "warm" start is preferable to them being thrown in the deep end and expected to deliver.
We should be arranging 4-5 of these games throughout the season tops.
I wouldn't be playing them behind closed doors though, I'm sure people would be willing to pay a fiver to see some of these games and it could also be televised on LFCTV.
It's win, win, Players get games, LFCTV gets content and fans get to pay a small sum to see players who are either on the fringe of the first team or recovering from injuries etc.

I think the point was to let some of the new and fringe players have a go in a low pressure environment.

Agree with these games being a good thing (are we playing more now under Rodgers???) Keep them behind doors tho, I'd rather we kept them "in house"
