He appears to have got over himself somewhat, and is settling down into a potentially great player, so credit to him and also Rodgers for keeping his feet firmly on the ground. Has the potential to become an Anfield legend if he can continue his development trajectory. The thing to watch out though is how he deals with the anti-Sterling plan other teams are going to come up with. This is one of the reasons why Coutinho has been struggling after a more than brilliant first half of the season. Coutinho is just way too inconsistent for me. Perhaps teams working him out has contributed to that but he just never seems to turn up at away games.

This is one of the reasons why Coutinho has been struggling after a more than brilliant first half of the season. I think he's already done that, to be fair. When defenders learned his game, he had to adapt, and he got stronger and more controlled in his passing and dribbling. Defenders try to knock them off the ball, but they can't. He either fights them off or just runs past them. Coutinho will play better as the focus of defenders shifts to Mario, Danny, and Raheem. Once he gets space, he'll punish defenses again. Phil will come good.

There was a lot of speculation about that, but I think it was more hearsay than anything else. Like that rumor that he has 7 kids or summat. Someone was trying to get money off him. I don't think there was anything else to it.

Lets see what this season unfolds before putting him "up there" with the greats.

The focus of opponents was not on him last season but more on Suarez and Coutinho, it is really towards the end of last season that he started being outstanding and making the difference. IMO, it's in the next few weeks that the anti-Sterling plan will materialise so we need to wait and see how he handles this. Was saying the same thing about Coutinho who has struggled last season. The good thing is that we have more than one player who need special attention and hopefully with Lallana and Markovic things will get even more complicated for our opponents.

It's always funny when Raheem tweets a picture of his daughter, he usually tags it with "all my 8 children I love you all" At less he has a sense of humor unlike some footballers.
