Didn't think this was worth a new thread, but it's a good read about Balotelli. The graph down the bottom is quite interesting, suggesting he might be able to slot into Suarez old "free role" quite seamlessly. Food for thought anyway..

Anyway, he's been with us for 4 days now, and Melwood is still standing.

That could be key to getting the best out of Danny as well. He works better when there's another man to draw some of the heat and pressure.

If we do play with 2 strikers, we'll need to have 2 good defensive midfielders for us not to concede and we maybe play with 1. Then it should be Gerrard with Can in the middle. In any case 433 is BR's preferred formation.

Yeah I think it will suit Balo to "wander" or roam also given his personality, just sort of suits him to turn up Having said that though, I think Danny prefers to be the more ridged of our attacking players - he seems happy to play up top and it shouldn't change his game much.

Looking well forward to seeing Balotelli in a Red shirt, can't bloody wait!
