No [oops] coming from me. Just trying to work out where you're coming from with one team being ok to play bad and win but not us? Don't add up for me.

I'd like to prefix ths by saying that I'm not a would be moderator, although I would like someone to reopen the old joke ethread.

But handbags please lads. I'm all for a good argument between two top posters on our site but lets try to keep away from the insults.

It's not about playing bad when I referred to Italy, it was about playing ugly to watch by playing defensive. When Chelsea beat us 2-0 at Anfield, they didn't play bad but ugly by choosing an ugly tactic by performing it to perfection, we were then demolishing teams left right and centre, they chose a strategy to destroy our game which worked for them.

Against Southampton we didn't choose to play ugly like Chelsea did, but had a bad performance playing our game. I hope you understand what I mean.

It's way too early for this kind of Vulcan analyzing Vish..way too early.

I just said that we had to jack up our game against Spurs, do you think that's a lot of analyzing? Don't you think we need to?

Fair enough. Makes sense now. Just seemed a few mixed messages earlier.

So I get what you're saying. We didn't want to play ugly but still won. Not the best way to be and we will need to be better against spurs. I still think we'll raise it enough to beat them but I still don't think it's game over for us if we don't beat them. Yes it gives them a lift and a 6 point advantage but there's still 35 left and I'd bet they will slip up like everyone else will. If we loose it will proper [oops] me off though as I hate loosing to spurs!

Coutinho looked great in pre-seaon but in the league games he's been marked out the games and hardly contributed.

Lallana due his a game as well as Markovic getting his first start.

Can could play Fullback if needed as well as Henderson or we could switch to 3 at the back if required, Balotelli needs to get game time but after starting 45 mins 3 times in the last month I'm not sure if he's fit for 90 mins, Also let's keep the man on his toes in terms of starting to soon.

Be interesting to see how Markovic and Lallana do as they both play in the same / similar role to Coutinho. Let's give them both a start to put pressure on the lad to perform to a consistent level something which he has lacked since joining us.

I'd look at Subbing Balotelli on around 60 mins with Can as well for Lallana who's back from injury and needs game time but not ready for a full 90 mins and for Sterling and or Markovic dependent on affect on the game. Markovic coming off more likely.

Then if Sturridge hasn't scored with 15 mins to go look at bringing Lambert on to keep Danny on his toes as well..

We have a great group of players and the bench is much better then anything I can remember in recent memory.

Rodgers needs to use them wisely and rotate players on fitness and or levels of form.
