Just a bit of fun... based on Liverpool winning all their remaining games which is well within their capabilities these are my predicions for the mancs run in.

Saturday, 25 April 2009
Hull v Liverpool, 15:00
Man Utd v Tottenham, 17:30 draw

Wednesday, 29 April 2009
Man Utd v Arsenal, Champions League 1st Leg, 19:45

Saturday, 2 May 2009
Middlesbrough v Man Utd, 12:45 manc win

Sunday, 3 May 2009
Liverpool v Newcastle, 13:30

Tuesday, 5 May 2009

Arsenal v Man Utd, Champions League 2nd Leg, 19:45

Saturday, 9 May 2009

West Ham v Liverpool, 17:30

Sunday, 10 May 2009

Man Utd v Man City, 13:30 draw

Wednesday, 13 May 2009

Wigan v Man Utd, 20:00 manc win

Saturday, 16 May 2009
Man Utd v Arsenal, 12:45 mancs lose

Sunday, 17 May 2009
West Brom v Liverpool, 13:30

Sunday, 24 May 2009
Hull v Man Utd, 16:00 manc win
Liverpool v Tottenham, 16:00

this would make Liverpool League Champions by 1 point 86 to the mancs total of 85!

have a look and see what you come up with.

Hope it works out like this.
Manure have some tough games and hopefully Arsenal, Spurs and Man City can hold them.

yeah it's the west ham game that worries me a bit too - but having said that, they like to play football and will attack which will give us space to create chances, and they amount we are creating at the moment should see us through (as long as we can stop conceding 4 goals a game!!!) :P

Man City are woeful away from home, can't see Spurs getting anything either.

Boro are a bit of a bogey team for the Mancs, so slight possibility of an upset there, if the Mancs even create half the chances Liverpool did v Arsenal they'll win it comfortably.

Really can't see it happening this year.

Man City have been poor away but this being their derby things will be different and I hope they manage a point at least. They've got nothing to play for except pride now and also the small item of buggering up their archenemy's chance of the title, so fingers crossed.

If Arsenal field a strong side against the mancs then they have every chance of winning - all will depend on how they get on together in the CL plus if Aston Villa manage to close the gap between now and then, Arsenal will have to get something out of the game. Just hope the mancs don't start playing how they can play cos they are looking ropey of late. Spurs could surprise them too - they've been playing well and Keane will be up for it wink

it's a big ask now I know but I'm really excited and enjoying still being in the hunt with just 5 games to go... I had started to forget how exciting the league could be for a Red fan - long may it continue wink

Was great going to the Arsenal game the other day with the bars in town buzzing, was probably the best atmosphere i've ever experienced in a league game as well!

COME ON YOU RED MEN.

I wish I was over there to cheer them on in the home stretch.

I don't think the Hammers will cause us too much concern. We are far stronger than they are in all areas and they attack when they play at home so it will create space for us to get in behind them. As for Manure I think they will draw against Borough (they are fighting to stay up) and against the Arse and will win the rest which leaves us 2 points adrift! I truly hope I am very wrong and they slip up and lose elsewhere but it is difficult to see!
