Say a lot about Sturridge as a top striker. Injury free season can see him score in and around 30 goals.

suarez was not an out and out striker along with the others listed though I thought he played the off the striker role like beardsly / dalglish

Yeah, Suarez is a number 7 second striker, or at least was for us. He can play as a 9, but it's not his best position. He got that much better when Danny arrived because he relished in the free role.

Yeah Sturridge's stats are impressive, but for some reason I dread the prospect of going into a full season with just him as our only quality striker. Maybe it's the injury prone thing, or something, but I'd be much happier if we signed another quality striker in addition to Sturridge.

I think everybody would but it all depends who is available and ready to come to LFC, without even mentioning the fee.
