for us to win the title next season we really need to get rid of Arbeloa and Lucas its a must change... if we can get Glenn Johnson and David Silva that would be more than Enough !! we really have problem with our right back Arbeloa..is he related to benitez ? because he really sucks very bad also i dont need to talk about lucas
so benitez just get us a right back and pacy right winger
Glenn Johonson and Silva would fit very well

Why are we talking about winning the title next season when this season is still alive and lthough it is small there is still a glimmer of hope?
As for next season I would much rather Ribery here than Silva. We also need another quality striker as back up for Torres.

I think Arbeloa is fine. One error doesn't straight away make him crap. Lucas is young and will get more time to prove himself. I think a player like Ribery (if not Ribery himself)is what we should be after.

totally agree with you Joel! I don't think Arbeloa is a bad player at all and his understanding and overlapping play with Kuyt/Benni has been very good. His touch is good and he works hard.

I've said it before that Lucas is still very young and obviously has a lot of promise - if the manager, staff and players believe in him then I think we ought to give him a break and give him time.

some people seem to only recall the bad things about players - does anyone recall Arbeloa v Messi in the Camp Nou?

Glen Johnson has been doing well in his last couple of games and skinned Rooney last night.
I wouldn't mind us getting him in and with Arbeloa we will have 2 good players for right back.

We need cover at right back and with the likes of Stephen Darby,Martin Kelly commimg thru the ranks could be given a chance, other than that a good right sided midfielder and backup frontman

No matter what anyone says, we don't need wholesale changes. Just a couple additions to the "squad" and maybe one big name. People are losing sight of how well we are playing at the moment. This should carry into next seaseon with these same players.

Joel not one error man.. he was responsible for 2 goals the 2nd and 4th he couldnt cover Arshavin at all also lets not forget his costly mistakes in the old games..he is not fast enought like Aurolio thats why i think Glenn Johnson would be perfect for us in front and back plus he is faster than Arbeloa and quicker also we missed the chance to get phillip Lahm and as for the right winger Ribery would be perfect but i dont think we can offer his price... thats why Silva would do the same plus in the other side we have Benny it would be soo perfect strike force Gerrard - Silva - Benny - Torres !

Dj mate, he was not responsible for the 4th goal. It was on the counter while we were chasing the win. You really need to look at the whole picture and then judge him. It's easy to remember the mistakes but hard to remember the good things he does. Remember the Madrid game, he was immense and he was on the left side.

No player is perfect. Players will make mistakes in games, even Johnson. It's just players like defenders and keepers have their mistakes scrutinized more. What about all the times that Torres or Gerrard lose the ball in attack? No one mentions that.
