Well that performance was much needed tonight. It gave me a bit of hope. Everything seemed right on so many fronts.
Very happy for Lucas. Seriously, the cheer when he scored, so many Reds must feel the same because even though people know he's an underdog, I still think the majority of decent fans want him to do the business. Whether he will or not in the future, who cares, he did it tonight when it counted. Great stuff.
It was like a cloud had lifted tonight. Can it continue? Please let this be a turning point of the season because it felt different.

we should win this, but i think this might be the level we can compete at now rather than top 4 and CL.

Yeah smiles all round,was talking to manc friends who wanted us to lose soley so we could concentrate on stopping city getting 4th and hopefully beat chelsea.
This could be like the season we won the CL,many players moved on after winning that.

Your right in every thing you say Dunk. Lucas seems a totally different player when his shackles are released a bit. It just seems that when he's asked to play as an anchor man with Masherano he's used as a scape goat because as great as they are at breaking up play neither of them can pass water just like Torres is fantastic in front of goal but he cant tackle for the life of him. More of the same against Fulham at home on Sunday please

fulham coming back from germany, not wanting to get injured and a small squad..that should be an absolute breeze. If we go for their throats like we did against Portsmouth and Sunderland then yes it will.

Yeah i often thought that if Kuyt and Lucas play more in the opponents last third or half then they are better because if they lose the ball its not as dangerous as losing it in there own half which they seem to be good at.
Plus Kuyt for me is pretty god up top with Torres.
