Obviously gerrard is unable to play in all of these matches at a top level. This seems like the best window to purchase a gerrard replacement to slowly sooth into the team. I think a couple very good players to replace gerrard are: Morgan Schneiderlin - I know, another Southampton player. Most similar player to gerrard In the league but would be a little pricey. Marco Verratti - The best up and coming Ragista in the world. Galvinating on the ball and extremly good defensively for having a frame of 5'6. We have the money and Verratti is IMO the best U21 player in the world. Having guaranteed 1st team footy world also be a draw for him.
