Yes it was, but he was not happy. If he was going to be Lewandowski's replacement who was going to leave in any case, I suppose the club would have kept him happy, no? In any case, proven strikers who are available is a rare commodity.

Really? He scored 21, 2 seasons back in France and 16 last season by playing more like a winger at Dortmund, what is proven then?

He's 25 years of age, only had one good season in France and has done ok in his first season in Germany.

12 goals in 34 caps for Gabon.

You also state he played as a winger at Dortmund so feel free to explain how he is a proven striker?
