Also i am not happy about the amount of players being brought in, in one window, i fear it could unsettle the squad balance and harmony.

I think we have been very underwhelming, we have got a bigger squad but I dont think we have improved the squad, time will tell.

For the first time in a very long while we have acquired all our main targets and most deals were done In Time for pre-season. We need a left back and a striker and I hope that will be sorted. Our best bet might be Bony and he might turn into a real world class player. BR exceeded expectations last season with a mostly unchanged squad. Who is to say he will not better himself this time around.

As for the Fantasy acquisitions such as Hummels, Reus etc please hell no! Remember these guys will have to settle, the PL is another beast com paired to the Spanish, Portugese and German Leagues. We have quality now our bench will look a lot better, we have Ibe coming through as well as a lot of other youngsters. Also take into account our management team is settled, our squad is on a high from last season and we have a lot of hungry young up and coming players, experienced players and stars in the making.

The future looks bright and I'd say except for City and the overrated Maureen's Oil guzzling bus we are in with a huge shout. I hope we play our game like last season and although Suarez is gone and we might miss his goals. I for one will not miss his antics and sulking when things didn't go his way.

go LFC !

Main target had to been a class striker Haven't seen one signed yet [/quote]

Agree but there is time left and I think the main thing is that with the Suarez cash we may get someone decent in.

Starting to think we may have spent close to all the budget, hope im wrong but setting aside the no.7 jersey for Loic Remy worried me, that would have made him one of the main players when we all thought of him as back up to Sturridge.

We have been very very shrewd. I know a few are disappointed we haven't moved for bigger names, but the players we have brought in are really really good. Can has been very good, Markovic will be a demon for us and now Lovren who will add a lot of stability but also an aerial threat.

I think we have been good so far but not fantastic. We have still not signed a left back, our main priority and haven't replaced Suarez upfront with a top striker (we will not be able to replace Suarez like for like except maybe with Tevez). I am actually worried now with the striker position, we have lost time with Remy unfortunately. I could also say we need a DM, but, BR doesn't seem to bother.

I would say Chelsea has had the best transfer window so far, they have been fantastic

Would agree with that Vish. I think we have strengthened the squad immeasurably which was needed and the starting XI in positions like CB and AM. I think Can might also be a fringe starter with Gerrard and him rotating games which is a good signing.

We definitely still have areas that need improving, particularly at FB and a striker but if we can get 2 good players in in those positions, it will have been a very successful window for me
